"The prayer of the righteous
is powerful and effective."
James 5:16
Following Jesus' example, we pray in all things. This conversation with God is the foundation of decisions regarding our parish life. It is an integral part of all of our worship. Prayer is not just petition (asking for things) but also praise, adoration, thanksgiving, and intercession. We utilize the beautiful resources of the Book of Common Prayer for worship but also value spontaneous and extemporaneous prayer which are major parts of our small group gatherings and many of our Sunday School classes. We are a praying church!
