 Music

"Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs
with thankfulness in your hearts to God."
Colossians 3:16

Worship is the focus of the music ministry at St. Christopher's Church. Membership in any musical ensemble is open to anyone interested in preparing and presenting sacred music; there are no auditions or other requirements other than dedication to worship and a desire to praise God.

Sanctuary Choir

The St. Christopher's Adult Choir

The adult choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings from 7:45 - 9:00 p.m. in the choir room and on Sunday mornings from 8:30 to 9:15 a.m. in the sanctuary from September - mid-May. During the summer months, the choir meets at 8:45 a.m. on Sundays only. This choir leads the musical worship every Sunday at the 9:30 a.m. worship service and for other special services throughout the church year, including Christmas Eve, Holy Week Services and Evensongs. Participation in the Community Thanksgiving service is also highly encouraged.

The St. Christopher's Ringers

The handbell choir, led by Joanne Metz, rehearses in the sanctuary on Tuesday evenings from 5:15 to 6:30 p.m. during the months of September through May. This ensemble performs periodically for worship services and on special occasions such as Christmas Eve.
